Jennifer Cobb CPA, PLLC -Last month I was invited to be a panelist at Intuit’s Global Accountant Day Celebration. Intuit is the company that you might recognize for its QuickBooks® accounting software. This was the third annual celebration which recognizes accountants and all they do as trusted advisors to small businesses around the world. I was on a panel at Intuit’s office complex in Plano, Texas, but the celebration was attended by Intuit employees and accounting professionals across Intuit’s global sites.
As a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, I was excited to participate in the discussion and answer questions from the attendees. We discussed the breakdown of our clients between Online and Desktop versions of QuickBooks, the structure of our work days between client service/firm management/firm marketing, third-party apps that we currently use to increase efficiency, and how we got into the accounting profession in the first place!
In addition to sharing my story, I learned about some apps being used by other participants and made new professional contacts in the process. It was a fun time to socialize with other accountants and meet lots of Intuit folks.
Because my firm specializes in QuickBooks software, I am always eager to increase my knowledge of the QuickBooks products. I work with businesses and investors who need outsourced bookkeeping, outsourced controller services, or customized set up for the QuickBooks software. Please contact me to discuss how I could help with your accounting tasks!
